Training, Activities and Behaviour for you and your dog

Treibball (pronounced try-ball)

"New exciting dog sport of urban herding, not just for herding breeds "

Treibball is a new dog activity, originated in Germany and invented by the Dutch dog trainer Jan Nijboer for energetic “job-less” herding dogs. Dogs push large exercise balls into a goal, working at a distance from handler. This sport promotes team-work and distance control between dog and his handler and is a low impact activity which provides a great way of physical and mental exercise. This activity is suitable for dogs of all sizes and ages and is NOT just for herding breeds.

Dogs must have basic off lead obedience to be able to work in a class environment.

TREIBBALL 1 will introduce you to the basics of this new dog sport.

TREIBBALL 2 will build on the skills from treibball 1.
