TD Rally ®

Rally involves you and your dog working as a team to navigate a course with numbered stations indicating different user-friendly obedience exercises to perform; think of it as a sort of "obedience exercise obstacle course" including simple exercises such as: Sit Down, Turn Left, Waits, Serpentine, U-Turn and many more.
At Dog Activity Spot we teach and train Talking Dogs Rally ®, which is based on the original rally obedience, created by Charles Kramer in 2000 in the USA, and this UK version is perfect for pet dogs and their owners. Dog Activity Spot welcomes dogs and handlers of all ages and abilities and crossbreeds as well as pedigrees. TD Rally® encourages owners to compete against their own scores rather than against other competitors.
Dog Activity Spot welcomes all dogs and handlers; those who would like to take up this activity as a trial sport and those who just like to enjoy some quality time with their dog.

Treibball

Treibball (pronounced tribe-ball) is a dog activity, originated in Germany and invented by the Dutch dog trainer Jan Nijboer for energetic "job-less" herding dogs. Dogs push large exercise balls into a goal, working at a distance from handler. This sport promotes team-work and distance control between dog and his handler and is a low impact activity which provides a great way of physical and mental exercise. This activity is suitable for dogs of all sizes and ages and is NOT just for herding breeds.

Hoopers

Hoopers is a new activity which is taking the UK by storm. Similar to dog agility, dogs have to navigate a set course, but as there is no jumping, climbing, weaving or sharp turns involved, Hoopers is a low-impact activity suitable for dogs of any age, size or speed.
The equipment used in Hoopers with Dog Activity Spot consists of hoops, tunnels and barrels.
As courses are set as flowing courses the activity leads itself to distance handling, so all the running is done by the dog and not by the handler. Nevertheless at Dog Activity Spot we work with the team in front of us and  start at the ability level of the individual team, building confidence and skills through motivation training to get the best out of both; the dog and the handler.
